Family Ventures Office Interior
March 14, 2017Project Description: (Residential, Sustainable)
The project boasts of a 4000kw solar power installation, a water supply system consisting of a borehole and rain harvest installation that allows the family to live largely off-grid. Additionally, there is a biogas digester with a treatment system for all grey water that returns it to gravity tanks for irrigating the garden. An organic garden generates vegetables for consumption.
The buildings themselves have deep overhanging shade roofs and large windows well positioned for natural lighting and ventilation. Natural materials of wood and tiles lend a warmth and homeliness to the interior. Each room has a great garden view relationship and different garden courts allow guests to spread around for private reclusion or small group discussions.
