Project Description: (Commercial office refurbishment and extension)

The new building was designed to marry a new contemporary extension to the existing old colonial period building and make it fit against the tree-scape that lined the city streets on two sides of the site.

Its white walls and simple fenestration patterns pick up the formal classical nature of the colonial architecture whilst the simple drama of the new wing with its twin columns, green glass and green marble façade-panel make a quiet statement of a confident, upward-driven organisation. The Client commented soon after moving into the building that their business opened up significantly and their staff had a new sense of purposefulness and well-being.
